Electrocauterization is a form of electrosurgery that uses an electric energy to cut and remove unwanted tissues. This technique uses a handheld device called a probe through which electric energy heats the tip.

Indications include removal of:

  • Skin tags or Acrochordons
  • Warts or Verruca vulgaris
  • Benign skin lesions or Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra

Benefits:

  • Electrocauterization offers high degree of precision
  • Requires only few minutes for removal of unwanted skin tissues

Radiofrequency Ablation

Radiofrequency Ablation

Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) is more suitable for small facial lesions. It uses heat produced from radio waves to target unwanted tissues.

  • Benign skin lesions or Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra
